This week was just as crazy as last week. I keep saying how glad I'll be when school is out. I'm ready for the kids to be home and for a new schedule. They are getting old enough that chores around the house are actually becoming shared responsibilities. Although I have found they do take short cuts here and there.
Kinsley has been getting ready for her class play called "Stone Soup" for months now. The class made all the props, mom's gathered costumes, the kids hand made the invitations and they practiced non-stop. The event has been much anticipated and talked about for weeks. Kinsley played the part of the grandma. Her speaking part wasn't difficult, but she was the highlight of the play every time (7 times) she said "Soup from a stone...Fancy that." At times she waved her cane and others she put a funny laughing snort in her line. She was quite the thespian.

Ha! I had to watch it twice. Brevin watched also and saw the picture of Foxy to the side and keeps saying "Bailey, Bailey!!" If only he saw the size of Foxy! I am sure he would love her! Maybe one day he will get to meet her.
