Tyce entered the world on November 1, 2008. He waited just long enough so his birthday would not be on Halloween. Thank you Tyce!! My labor started at home with my water breaking at 1:00am. I called my friend Lisa who was on call with a lot of other people. Lisa knew our plan of wanting the kids to be there with us for the delivery and had agreed to buz them over as soon as it was time. The nurses had told us that I was going to go fast so we called home and Lisa had them there in no time. The only problem was that Tyce was coming posterior and the epidural was working too good. I couldn't feel a thing. That normally would be a good thing, but with a posterior baby you need to be able to feel some pressure to have the baby turn. We had to wait until I had enough feeling to push him out of posterior and then out. That didn't happen until about 6:00am. Tyce was finally born at 7:35am. The kids stood behind the curtain and were there to experience that special time in all of our lives. We are home now and have had one okay night and one horrible night. I'm sure there be a lot more of both ahead of us.

What a sweet little baby! Isn't it a good feeling to know you have a healthy baby and aren't pregnant anymore? We wish you more good nights than bad, enough sleep to survive and being "back to normal" soon. Congratulations.
