We started baseball season with Jaxson playing Spring League baseball. Lets just say its cold here in the spring, so baseball watching can be challenging at times. Then we moved into regular season. Justin coached again this year and we ended out tied for 3rd in that league. And now we are heavy into All-stars. Jaxson has been playing third base on this years all-star team and does a great job. Apparently third base is called the "hot spot" because of all the balls that get hit that way. Jaxson's also quite the hitter. He's had two home runs this year and multiple doubles and triples. This past weekend was the Madison Invitational here in town and our guys took it all. The final score in championship game was 20-1. Not even a challenge. Way to go guys. They were even spotlighted in the paper today. We still have two more tourney's, one of them being the state tournament. Keep your fingers crossed.
I should mention what great sports and cheerleaders the girls are. For the most part, they go to the games ready to cheer Jaxson on and be good sisters. This past weekend they even sold concessions to earn some money for dance. It was a fun weekend. I love baseball!!!
