February has proven to be just a busy as January. Thank heavens it's almost over. Jaxson performed as a "wheat walker" in the temple celebration the night before the dedication. The celebration was, in a nut shell, the story of Rexburg and how it came to be. Starting with the pioneers that settled the area and ending with the building of the temple. Jaxson had a great experience, hopfully on he'll remember for all long time. Elder Bednar and Elder Nelson attended the celebration and the dedication was President Monson's first official act as our prophet. We were blessed to be able to take Jaxson to the temple for the dedication. At one point during the talks before the dedicatory prayer, Jaxson leaned over to me and asked, "Is this all we do?" I reassured him the best part was yet to come.
Lilly's birthday was yesterday and fun was had by all. I'm pretty sure Kinsley got more play time in with Lilly's presents then Lilly did. Kinsley decided that she and Jaxson wanted to get Lilly a present and spent their own money to do so. Between V-day and birthday Lilly came out with $45. Lucky Girl. We had Cam and Alicia here for the weeked to celebrate. Too bad Cam was sick. He did seem to manage to come downstairs for the party. Lilly wanted a Dora cake this year and we were also lucky to find Dora ice cream. We all went to the movie Enchanted for a birthday outing. What a cute movie and Lilly laughed all the way through. It was a great weekend and we were all sad it had to end, especially since it's Justin's busiest time of year. The next two weeks we pretty much won't see him at all. Oh well, at least he and I can look forward to Myrtle Beach in March. It's our 11 year anniversary and we'll be jetting off to S.C. for a few days.
Until next time!!!

What a beautiful 4-year-old. You must tell her that there is only one birthday on Great Aunt Kathy's calendar for February 18th, and that just happens to be Lilly's. I don't think I've ever seen happier kids. I'm SO glad that you have them involved in ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. That's what makes for happy, well-adjusted kids. Lilly is truly a beautiful little child. I can see a lot of sweetness from her Mom - I really can. I'm sorry that Justin is so busy. Joe was never home either, and he still isn't. Tell Justin that Uncle Joe was invited to ref at Regional Tournament in Riverton again. He's quite excited, of course. He can still run up and down the court!!! Anyway, stay happy, and please do take care of yourself.
Love you, sweet niece...

Have a great week, Jay's out of town this week and in two weeks for the whole week, I hope I survive!
I can't believe she is 4. I miss babysitting her and being able to see the changes! She is so cute and you did a dang good job on the cake! I am very impressed. My poor kids... they are so neglected.
LOVE the cake...not to mention the cutie behind it! I feel like a bad Aunt...Cody never knows when anyone's birthday is! Do you have a list? Or can you at least send me your family's?!
Hi, Melissa! I found your blog from a link from others in the family. It was really fun to read and see how you are all doing. The cake you made looks great! It looks just like Dora. I bet it took a long time. Tyler is requesting a Transformers cake for his birthday so I better get thinking of what I am going to do for that. The pictures of the kids are really cute. The temple dedication sounds like it was really neat to go to. I'm glad to see that things are going well for you and your family! Oh yeah, our #4 will be here some time in July. -Lizzy
