An Update on my Four!!

With the addition of Tyce to the family I feel as though I haven't posted anything about the other kids lately. So here's a bit of what's going on with them. Jaxson has been very busy with basketball. He was also one of two kids asked to speak at the Veteran's Day program at their school. Jaxson was asked to speak on the freedoms we enjoy as U.S. citizens. He did a great job. Jaxson's basketball team is from Rexburg, but plays in Idaho Falls. That's what our Saturday's consist of lately. This past weekend Jaxson scored the first shot of the game and had many assists. Here's a clip of his steal and assist to good friend Devan.

Kinsley has been very busy with dance, school and has loved being able to go to achievement days. Her class was also involved in Veteran's Day program. They were able to sing and sign the song America.

Lilly has been my little helper since Tyce arrived. She is so helpful in the mornings when I need a shower or just a quick minute to check my emails. She loves to hold Tyce "standing up" and will sit and watch cartoons with him in the Boppy. (I love that boppy) I do think that evidence of baby blues for Lilly came shining through over the weekend. I didn't think that would happen with her, but maybe she's feeling a little bit of, I'm not the baby any more. Hopefully we can remedy that somehow for her.

As for Tyce he seems to be fitting in great. He is growing like weed. I had him to the doctor last week (on his due date) and he weighs 8lbs 11oz now. I think we might have a bruiser on our hands. I think he'll need to be to keep up with everyone here and the crazy Hodges house. He also got his first cold over the weekend. Poor thing!! He's only two weeks old and has to deal with his mother and the bulb syringe all the time. Jeanne was here all last week helping with the house, meals, and of course the baby. She really saved me. It was nice not to worry about anything for another week. I joked with one of my neighbors that when Jeanne left was when I'd really cry. Thank you Jeanne. We loved having you and I am so thankful that you were able to be here.

Tyce is so cute. Can I just say that Lilly is so beautiful. I could just bring her home with me. On Sunday she ran up and gave Indee and I big hugs. Indee was so happy about it. I am glad everything is going good.
