So this Valentine's Day Kinsley's class had a Vday box competition. And of coarse Kinsley wanted to take home first place. No pressure Mom!! We looked all over the internet for ideas and found one for a snowman. I went around town gathering the supplies and Kinsley and I put him together. I must say, he turned out so cute. We had a lot of fun being creative and making sure he was just right. We cut hole in the top hat and the box on top for the kids to drop their valentines and used oreos for his eyes, buttons for his mouth and conversation hearts for his nose and buttons. The snowman turned out so much better than the one we saw on the internet. And Kinsley got her wish... She took home FIRST place!!
As you know valentine's day was on a Saturday this year, so I was able to a fun breakfast for the kids. We had pink pancakes cut into hearts. They loved it. After pancakes they opened their gifts. It was a fun morning. Cameron and Alicia came later that day and we had a great weekend playing and relaxing.
